Her broadcast expertise and experience is vast: She has interviewed celebrities, military veterans, international business luminaries, fashion designers, philanthropists, rock stars, entrepreneurs, politicians and fellow journalists. She has appeared on-air with Barbara Walters, Larry King, Bill O’Reilly, Diane Sawyer, Anderson Cooper and Kelly Ripa. She is a red carpet regular and entertainment reporter at the Oscars, Emmys and Golden Globes. She has worked for national morning shows, cable news networks and national news networks. She is a published writer, prolific content creator, spokesperson and public speaker.
Currently, Szish appears on a variety of national networks and programs including FOX News and FOX Business, CNN, The Wendy Williams Show, Inside Edition, Good Morning America and The Today Show. She is an on-camera host for various digital properties, including New Beauty and Hearst. She is also the Editorial Director for legendary shoe designer Stuart Weitzman, where she coined the brand's trademarked hashtag, #inourshoes, and is part of the CLIO award-winning marketing division.
Szish was previously a correspondent for CBS News’ The Early Show, an anchor, reporter and writer for ABC News Now, a freelance correspondent for E!, a correspondent and writer for CNN.com, a co-host on the Food Network, a host and correspondent for TBS and the host of Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty television series. She was the first on-air national correspondent for both UsWeekly and InStyle magazines. Prior to her broadcast career, she held senior editorial positions at VOGUE and GQ magazines. Szish kicked off her career interning for both CNN’s Political Investigation unit in Washington, DC and CNN Style with Elsa Klensch in NYC after graduating with honors from Harvard.
Szish has hosted branded video series and served as an on-camera brand ambassador for clients including Yahoo, Mercedes-Benz, Calvin Klein, Unilever, Droga5, Intel, Zales, Ann Taylor and Betty Crocker. She also has extensive experience in local news, having frequently appeared on network affiliates in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and beyond; she also served as a fill-in morning news anchor for FOX Q13 in Seattle.
Throughout her career, Szish has appeared on dozens of television shows and networks. Her “greatest hits list” includes: 20/20, The O’Reilly Factor, The View, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, The Insider, Inside Edition, World News Tonight, 20/20, Larry King Live, Live with Regis & Kelly, Fashion Police, Anderson Cooper 360, Reliable Sources, Red Eye, Cavuto Coast to Coast, Mornings with Maria, On the Record with Greta van Susteren, Studio B with Shepard Smith, Scarborough Country, Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell, Showbiz Tonight, Good Afternoon America, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style, Rocco’s Dinner Party, VH-1, MTV, CNBC, Bravo, Animal Planet, BBC and Sky News.
Szish prides herself on having taken an atypical approach to her career, despite receiving frequent criticism for her path. One senior news executive said: "You do too many things; we don't know what to do with you." Another warned, “You have to pick one thing -- TV producers need to be able to put you in a bucket.” But it is precisely this multi-faceted approach that makes Szish relevant in the constantly evolving world of media. It has also established her as a sought-after mentor: she has been tapped by Harvard as a Professional In Residence and frequently works with young women to help them realize and pursue their career goals.
Szish is based in New York City, where she lives with her husband and their four-legged canine kids. She recently launched a lifestyle blog and brand, Anchors & Sirens; she is contemplating her debut novel; and she has been an active member of HSUS and various philanthropic animal rescue initiatives. Her motto is “Don’t say 'why,' say 'why not.'”
